Nothing much to report.

Hello and welcome to another episode of: The Interblag and Me. If you recall the last time we visited our protagonist he was writing about receiving a hot glue gun in the mail. In today's episode we revisit both topics and finish it of with some...improper characters.
No idea where that came from. Dont ask. Nothing super exciting happened today except i got this in the mail:

Pretty sick huh? and it only took me over two years! That is totally going to help pay for the armor pieces. And you wont be surprised to learn i didn't work on my armor. At all. Actually i think ill print it out now. Currently i have too much studying to do for calculus but never fear! there is always the weekend. Tomorrow ill show you one of my projects. Either my xbox 360 mod or a work in progress for the pistol. Until then hit the stumble button if you like my blog and want me to keep posting. otherwise ill lose heart and leave :(

Mail call! and other such nonsense.

Well hello there. So today i got a package! inside was among other things, a hot glue gun! whats this for you might ask? well like many other people before me i am making Mark VI mjolnir armor from Halo. When you see my 360 (sometime soon when i don't have anything else) you will understand why. But anyways so far all i have it the helmet made and partly fiber glassed.

 When i went to college i left it behind and made a huge mess trying to make a scorpion tank with Elmer's glue. And tape. A whole ton of tape. Now that's almost done and ill be finishing off the final wheel eventually.

Scorpion tank. That's a 17" Laptop.

 But the main point is i will start working on my armor and fiber glassing it when i get home :D however my armor wont be just normal armor oh no. I'm using a friends old laptop that has a broken screen, mounting it in my back with the fans expelling air downward through the suits air vents from the game and using that to power a set of Vuzix Wrap 920AR glasses so that i can overlay what I'm seeing with a HUD.
Oh and i have a gold visor already as well so i will be looking so awesome. As of now i don't know what I'm going to put on the HUD. Any ideas?
After(if) i finish the tank I'm going to make the M9 pistol from the series before i move on to the armor.
On the gaming note I'm starting to get really into Halo Reach. send me a friend request @ KingSnake2058 if you want to play Firefight or 2v2v2. I'm practicing for a tournament this weekend lol.

To infinity and beyond!

So i don't know if any of you haven't heard but we found a planet with a 100% chance of life. Yep 100%. no doubt about it. Here's the wiki summary! Don't believe Wikipedia? Check the sources! But after reading this i have one question:

Why aren't we (or anyone) building a ship to take us there asap?
I mean seriously. For that matter why aren't we living on the moon or mining an asteroid? We have the technology and have had it for over 30 years! In fact hardly any improvements have been made to the original launch shuttle that a modern car is as high tech as it! If a business set up a mining drill on the moon or a nearby asteroid in little to no time they would recoup their losses in the price of minerals and ore alone never mind scientific experiments. my point is that space exploration doesn't have to be a high cost adventure. We can do it relatively cheap. For example, most of the fuel on rockets are used up when leaving the lower two miles or so or earths atmosphere. It we instead used weather balloons filled with helium and fired the boosters around 80,000 feet (10,000 feet below the balloons bursting point) then we can save so much in fuel costs!

It is our duty as a sentient species to seek out other life and help it grow. And we wont do that sitting here on Earth waiting.

Hey the WiFi is back!

Ok so now for a real post. Hello. My name is Ian. alias snakeman2058 alias Donagon. If you want to find me try snakeman2058 unless its a blizzard game then do Donagon :P

So anyways; my wifi has been acting really really dumb lately. Like needs to ride a short bus with a helmet dumb. it will randomly disappear of give me limited connectivity or create a ghost network that i cant actually connect to. And seriously NO ONE can help. I send about 50gazillion messages to Belkin till they gave up and Microsoft just said "Windows 7 doesn't do these problems. you probs haz pirated version so gtfo." even though this is the first OS i've bought legit... anyways my roommate fixed it (temporarily) by resetting the router to factory settings and I'm afraid to change anything such as the key or name. Also i wanted to say thank you to that guy that visited the blog minutes after i made it. seriously your a cool dude/chick. Thats about it for now...time for CS Lab
